WALLBEDS - MURPHY

Wall beds are a great solution to converting a space into a good sleeping area. The wall beds we carry typically have cabinets and fold down vertically into a great sleeping bed. They come in three sizes; twin, full and queen. We have a model that is a metal frame only for a closet installation application.

Our beds do not require holes to be drilled in floors, nor do they have gas cylinders that can leak in a few years. Our beds are very slim in profile and protrude only 16” from the wall when closed. They have very strong and rigid construction and require virtually no maintenance over their life. The mechanism is powered by tempered springs that can be adjusted to provide a nice counterbalance. You can open or close our beds with one finger! We have both solid hardwood and melamine cabinets in four colors. In addtion, we provide top molding on some models.

In addition, side cabinets can be purchased that contain two drawers on the bottom and a wardrobe door on the top, along with four shelves. These side cabinets can go on the left, right or both sides of the bed cabinet.

Standard mattresses work well with our Murphy beds. The maximum thickness can be up to 11”. Single sided or two-sided mattresses work just fine. We find, however, that visco and latex mattresses will need additional straps to be added to keep their shape when stored vertically.
